We made the mistake of booking the Dubai "suite" which it was not. The room was no bigger than a standard hotel room with no couch. There was one small window in the corner. The lighting was either too bright or almost none at all. Not worth the price - pay up for one of the better rooms.
The Vine restaurant was good. Dinner w/wine for 2 came to around $200. The pool looked very pleasant.

Ah, the road. Some day we will get that rectified. It is 1.2 miles long of a good gravel road, with some asphalt which needs to be retopped. We trust that most guests will overlook the fact that we don't have a nice paved road into our inn. We drive it many times a day since we are well acquainted with the need down the road to pave it, or repave it, as the case may be.
Tremendous weekend getaway. I strongly encourage couples to go there for a total romantic immersion experience.

While the facility and dining are top notch, the prices certainly reflect it. The gravel road leading to the property could be paved. I wish I'd been made aware of the guest entry journals earlier so I could have told a little more of our experience.
Beautiful view overlooking vineyards and pasture. Aware of traffic on the highway but easy to tune out. Breakfast and Dinner are probably the best dining I've had in the local area anytime recently.
Spectacular weekend retreat despite covid
Our stay at Cameo Heights Mansion was spectacular. The rooms were beautiful and had amazing touches like quality robes, gas fireplace, big TV, and even heated toilet seats with bidet.
The food was delicious and accomodations for covid were reassuring but not intrusive. They have done so much to keep guests safe and comfortable.
We loved the media room and other shared spaces. The design is welcoming and fun. We can't wait to come back when we can get the full experience post covid.

We are so grateful for your exceptional ratings, especially during the difficult transition that is COVID. Glad you felt safe and comfortable. Knock on wood, no guest has reported getting sick here. That is no small deal. Some day we will come out of COVID, but in the meantime we are focused on creating a great getaway even with the restrictions.
The seven course dinner was fabulous. Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. We had a bottle of local Walla-Walla White Zinfandel from Captain's list. The wine was excellent.
We stayed in English Tudor room where is the attic. The balcony is beaufully facing the valley.
We love the free in room wake upbreakfast service. My daughter had wonderful in room coffee and tea with freshly morning baked cherry danish. It added up the enjoyable experience with Cameo Heights.
